Beginning of Year Reflections: 2026

Beginning of Year Reflections

As I look back on 2025, I find myself returning to one word: belonging. It’s the thread that wove itself through every service we delivered, every conversation we facilitated, and every family who arrived in the Lehigh Valley expecting a new place to call home.

It is through our partnerships and openness to collaboration that we can achieve our vision of fostering communities where everyone feels welcome, gets rooted, and thrives. Together, we’ve accomplished much:

  • Partnering with over 85 organizations across the region to attract and retain top talent through newcomer supports and leadership programs.
  • Supporting 380 newcomers as they embraced career opportunities in and around the Lehigh Valley.
  • Reaching 141 organizations through our C-Suite Leadership Summit and CEO Breakfast Forum series, fostering collaboration among 160 leaders in our community.
  • Celebrating LINC’s 10-year anniversary and the individuals and organizations that have contributed to sustaining and supporting our mission.
Behind these numbers are stories of courage, hope, and resilience.

A new hire who moved across the country for a new role, sent us a note the day before starting work:

Another family, relocating from abroad, shared:

Their words remind me that when someone uproots their life for a new opportunity, they aren’t just changing jobs, they’re starting a new era in their life. Our role is to help them feel confident in the decisions they make. We are part of their local support system for whatever challenges come their way.

LINC is an obvious partner when employers value their employees and want to showcase their commitment as a competitive advantage from the very start. Holly Kosek, head of talent acquisition at Lutron Electronics, in a video shares this:

"Lutron chose to use LINC's talent services because we are trying to hire the best people. And to do that we really need to stand out as an employer of choice. So by putting our arms around candidates and helping them transition into the community or develop their ability to stay within this community is really important. LINC does an incredible job making our people feel like this is truly home."

I invite you to consider how your organization can be part of this unique community we are building. Let’s work together to ensure the Lehigh Valley continues to thrive. Visit our Get Involved page to connect with us and learn more about how you can get LINC’d in 2026!

Here’s to another year of progress, collaboration, and community!
