Lutron’s Experience with LINC

Lutron Electronics is a worldwide leader in lighting control, lighting and shade solutions headquartered in Coopersburg, PA. They have teams around the world, but many employees live and work in Lehigh Valley, PA, and the surrounding areas. In 2015, Lutron was one of the first companies to utilize LINC’s Talent Services. As they brought on junior talent and experienced hires, they saw LINC as a differentiator during the recruiting process.

For one executive candidate, LINC staff arranged a motorcycle tour around Lehigh Valley, PA, during the candidates’ second look visit. This experience was unimaginable before the relationship with LINC and the person ultimately accepted the job. Feedback surveys from Lutron employees underscored the value of LINC during the recruitment phase. Those who spoke with LINC said it made the community more attractive and they were more likely to accept a job because of the consultation and services LINC provided.

LINC offers employers a variety of services, including signature summer events, to give interns and other early career professionals a chance to truly experience the Lehigh Valley and showcase the vibrant community of young professionals in the region.
